** What is Wellness?? **
Everyday we are flooded with information and advertisements for health and wellness products, services and modalities, but how many of us actually know what it is we want in terms of our wellness…
What exactly are we aiming for or hoping for?
When I started working as a Medical Intuitive, I thought it would be a great balance between using my nursing knowledge and using my intuitive abilities.
I loved the anatomy and physiology side of nursing, but I found it incredibly difficult to work in the medical model of healthcare, where wellness doesn’t really factor in to the health equation.
Turns out, as a Medical Intuitive, my knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, disease and inflammation processes, etc plays a surprisingly tiny role in helping my clients figure out what is causing their physical symptoms.
It has been quite the eye opener to see just how significantly our state of wellness is affected by the spiritual, emotional and mental aspects of our lives.
Physical health is just one small piece of the health and well-being puzzle.
“…a lifestyle sensitive and responsive to all the dimensions of body, mind, and spirit…”
This sums it up perfectly, just as wellness is the sum of all parts of us and of our lives.
Sounds huuuuge right!! And maybe just a tad overwhelming?
It may even sound like an impossibility – how on earth can we ever achieve perfect balance and harmony in mind, body and soul while living on this planet with its crazy-heavy energy and the demands of 21st century Earth-life??!!
For the vast majority of us, we can’t and won’t get to a place of perfect balance and harmony, and that’s OK – our perfect imperfectiveness (yep, that’s definitely a word 😉) doesn’t mean we can’t be well.

…what is going on around us, in our external environment – be it energetic or physical in nature – doesn’t matter unless we allow it to matter.
We always need to come back to ourselves, back to our Inner Wisdom, our intuition, our connection to our Higher Self, to our soul, to our internal compass…and from our core we create wellness and we create our own ideal reality.
We always need to come back to ourselves to find everything we need “…to achieve our highest potential for well-being now and forever.”
